Hello, my name is Chantheavy Lim. I am currently a senior at Salem State University. My major is Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I am originally from Cambodia where I experienced working as an Account Receivable Accountant at Siam Cement Group. In that position, I gained knowledge of being a real accountant. I have been inspired by my Accounting Manager’s words. He said "Behind a good business is a great accountant."
My goal is to be that Accountant. When I arrived in United State of America 5 years ago; I knew that I would be an accounting student. Now, here I am, working on my accounting degree. My main goal after graduation is to seek employment as a private accountant in a local company. I hope to be employed in the accounting field, so that I can apply my knowledge and experiences. I will continue to take courses at Salem State to fulfill 150 credits for an opportunity to take the Certified Public Accoutant (CPA) exam. I hope to become a CPA.
