I heard the term HTML when I was enrolled in Accounting Information System course. HTML was one of programming languages used to develop accounting software. Prior to my web development course, I had a foundation in general computing skills, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Even though my computer literacy background was helpful, this web development course expanded my knowledge and skill in computing. This course is about structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web , which is very amazing and cool. Over the course of the semester, I received so much knowledge from my professor on how to build, manage, and maintain websites. I have learned to be a real web developer, especially on how to code in HTML5 and CCS3. I took this course as an elective and it turned out to be a good decision. This is because I have learned the IT knowledge and skills necessary in today's careers. I found myself very committed, passionate, and excited about web programming. I always spend extra time. Everyday I will put a little time in coding and developing my course assignments.

This page is evidence of the progress I have made since the first day of class. The artifacts on this page documented my progress in learning and applying web development skills. I now have knowledge of how websites are constructed and hosted on web server. What is even clearer, I found myself loving the field of information technology more than ever.
